We are thrilled to be showcasing a 4 part series of the ‘picks’ that Lilla and Janine chose as part of the live review.
Here is part 4 from the MATS B ASSIGNMENT: Illustrate your ideal wardrobe or an outfit that best exemplifies who you are as a creative. Imagine this is to illustrate a magazine article.
Last month, Uppercase publisher Janine Vangool joined Lilla for a special LIVE REVIEW in our MATS Part A and Part B self-paced courses
We shared one brand new assignment in each class and had over 100 submissions in each one. You can view the public galleries here: MATS A Gallery | MATS B Gallery

KATHERINE QUINN
Lilla and Janine’s thoughts: Very dreamy and beautiful and love the limited palette. It tells a story, what is the story, you want to know more about the story.

JENNA FREIMUTH
Lilla and Janine’s thoughts: This is along of lines of something one would include in the magazine. Really like the green outline and the words about things she likes. The motifs of the pencil in the bow and the constellations in the background. It all really fits together and you can see what her style is.

LYNN GAINES
Lilla and Janine’s thoughts: A great way to structure content. Placing things around, you get a real sense of who she is. Easy on the eye with light products on dark background.

SUSAN EVENSON
Lilla and Janine’s thoughts: Beautiful piece, maybe make it more about birds as the girl with the bird is the winning portion. Maybe include more birds, more bird houses and focus on more about the outfit based on the brief.

SHARON MONTGOMERY
Lilla and Janine’s thoughts: Lovely portrait and we can see it is about the pattern on her shirt and incorporating that into her environment. A beautiful piece.
