Hi, Everyone!

It’s Lilla here, artist agent.

It’s prep time for our annual Global Talent Search (GTS) – one of the most closely-watched events in our industry. We will be sharing #mygtsprep daily here on the blog all this week. If you have not yet registered, book your place here and then dive into these ‘minis’ to help you get ready for the main competition.

#MYGTSPREP Part 1:

For today, I want you to take a moment to reflect: What do you like to drink? Do you drink it in your favorite cup? A glass? Do you use a straw? Do you garnish it with a lemon? Whipped cream?

Your mission today is to draw your favorite drink. For extra credit, write about your beverage, right on the piece. Fill in the blank: Here’s why I love to drink this. It makes me feel ____________________________________________. (You can make up your own sentences.)

We would love to learn more about you, what you drink, and why! Have fun and work in your style. There are no rules! Remember, as an artist, you can embellish.

Be sure to sign your work.

Then, share what you find or draw on social media, including the hashtag #mygtsprep  To make sure I see it, please include the following:

I can’t wait to see what you do!

P.S. Speaking of having a nice drink, I spotted this lovely painting the other day when I was at the Boston MFA and wanted you to see it.
