Nature wants things to grow and blossom. That’s what YOU’RE meant to do, too. I want you to be the very, very best you can be. Like a plant, you need the right environment and nurturing. You will get that in Creating Collections for Home Décor. In addition to all the goodness we’ve packed into this popular self-paced e-course, there’s a very supportive private online community to connect & share with other artists all over the world.

Creating Collections for Home Décor provides the skills and knowledge to teach you everything you need to know about the lucrative home décor market – how to conceptualize and pitch full product collections. By showing art directors that you can do this, you put yourself ahead of the game, and stand out from other artists as a commercial professional. Not only are they more likely to buy your work, they are likely to buy MORE of your work – perhaps even your entire collection!

Creating Collections for Home Décor is an in-depth, self-paced course co-taught by me and creative director Margo Tantau. We will teach you how to sell MORE art to each client, by presenting your ideas as full collections, targeted at the lucrative home décor market. There’s no other course like this available online today, yet it can be a huge competitive advantage for artists.

Take a look at these ‘ready-to-send-to-clients’ presentations created in class by two of my students, Åsa Gilland and Bex Morley, showing product mock-ups they designed for class.

Åsa Gilland

Åsa Gilland has a quirky style that she’s translated onto a variety of products. It’s an effective presentation because everything is displayed on the page in a way that is both easy for the art director to read quickly and is incredibly marketable. And look at that lettering!

Bex Morley

Something that we talk about in class is how the color palette and vibe should be cohesive throughout the pitch, as demonstrated in Bex Morley’s collections. Why? This is so the consumer can buy any or all of the collection and it all goes together well in their home.

You can tell the quality of a course by the quality of the work that comes out of it.

And that there is a range of styles, so everyone isn’t doing the same look! I show a vast array of influences to encourage everyone to be themselves.

How exactly do you get your art onto Anthropologie products? Let me teach you how!

Keep an eye out for the 2018 assignment, a new Live Review with Margo & I, and a new trend board that I created just for this class (all to be released later this year) for self-paced Creating Collections for Home Décor if you’re already enrolled, and sign up now if you aren’t – don’t miss out!

Let’s create your new home décor collection together!

Lilla
