Q. I’ve never taken an online class before. How does it work? Do I need to be at my computer at a certain time?
A: The beauty of an online course is that you don’t need to be online at a specific time and it doesn’t matter what time zone you are in: you can check in whenever you like and the content is available 24/7. You can log on every day if you choose, or set aside some time once or twice a week to work through it.
The course takes place in an easy to navigate, gorgeous password-protected private classroom right here on this site. As this is a self-paced course, you’ll get instant access to all of the material as soon as you sign up – just log in to your account and you’ll see all the courses you’re currently enrolled in.
You’ll also have access to the private Facebook group for this course where you can connect with others and share images of your work. Please note that it may take a little while for your access to the Facebook group to be approved .
The fabulous written content for the class, which is packed full of knowledge, insight, hints and tips as well as fun assignments and exercises, is fully downloadable, plus you have access to the classroom until January 31, 2026, so you have plenty of time to go through everything at your own pace. The Facebook group will remain open indefinitely.
Q. What format is the class taught in?
A: The class is taught using video, written posts and lots of beautiful imagery. Everything is made available in a bespoke, password-protected private classroom. There are also a handful of creative exercises in the course.
Q: Does this class contain live reviews?
A: No, this class is self-paced and contains replays of Lilla reviewing student work. For courses that include live reviews of a selection of student work please see our live courses here.
Q: Can I do the course at my own pace?
A: Yes! All of the content is saved and made available in the classroom. You have access to all pre-recorded course materials until 31 January, 2026. You do not have to be online at a particular time and complete the course content at your own pace.
Q: Can I access Make Art That Sells courses from any device?
A: Yes, you can access Make Art That Sells courses from any device once registered, but we strongly recommend viewing our courses on a desktop or laptop for the best user experience. We pack lots of information and visuals into our courses and they are best viewed on larger screens so you can see the details in Lilla’s reviews.
Q: Can I get feedback from Lilla on my work?
A: This is a self-paced e-course and does not include student reviews. Please check out our other classes where Lilla offers weekly reviews on many pieces of work.
Q: Does it matter what order I take the courses in?
A: All of the Make Art That Sells courses are unique and designed to be taken in any order you choose. You can take each course individually or take them all to put a rocket under your creative career!
Q: Will I be able to communicate with others in the class?
A: Yes, you will be able to communicate in the private Facebook group, where you can also share images of your work, interact and ask as many questions as you like. This will be a great chance to connect with other artists and designers, get different perspectives and share your work.

Q: How much is it and how do I register?
A: Porfolio Review is £79, which is approximately USD $96 (full price, occasional discounts may apply). Please note this approximate $ equivalent is given for reference only.

Q: I see the prices are given in GBP (British pounds). Can I pay in another currency?
A: Absolutely! We have students from all over the world! All payments are made via PayPal and courses are priced in GBP £ as we are headquartered in the UK. Any approximate $ equivalents given are for reference only. You will be charged in your local currency at the prevailing PayPal exchange rate– so if you have a USD$ bank account the funds will be removed in USD$. The local currency equivalent should be displayed on your screen before the transaction is completed.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We process all our payments with PayPal, a safe and secure way of sending money online. If you do not have a PayPal account you can sign in as a PayPal guest and pay via credit or debit card. All class fees are in GBP (British pounds) but you will automatically be charged in your local currency at the prevailing PayPal exchange rate valid at the point you sign up.
Q: I don’t live in the USA. Is this course relevant for me?
A: Lilla Rogers represents artists internationally and has lots of international clients. Although the main buyers for art in the markets covered are in the US as it’s the largest and most lucrative market, much of the content is relevant for you wherever in the world you are, especially if you are interested in selling your work internationally. And because everything is made available to you online, it does not matter what time zone you are in.
Lilla’s book is very motivating and the Make Art That Sells courses provide excellent assignments, structure, trend, and motivation to help you create art for your portfolio.

Delivery Policy
All our courses are delivered online in a private password-protected classroom. We do not deliver physical products in the post, but rather send you an email with the URL of the classroom and the password you need to log in. This email is sent to the email address you used to register for the class. Our online communities are offered via individual Facebook groups, to which you can request access, which will be granted once your enrolment has been confirmed. You can access the private classroom for your course via the Account section of this website, on or after the advertised start date of the course. For self-paced classes, you can access the private classroom via the Account section of this website, as soon as your purchase is complete.
