First things first though, what’s a birthday without a card?
We want you to design a birthday card for us, and to keep it simple we just want you to draw the number 10. You can write it in letters or digits, in any medium or color scheme that you like, then share it on social media with the hashtag #MATSis10.

The winning entry, chosen by Lilla, will get a FREE place in our final LIVE course for 2023, Illustrating Children’s Books.

How to enter
Please send your artwork to [email protected] before midnight (PST) August 24th, and don’t forget to share it on Instagram with the tag #MATSis10!
Specifications:
Your artwork can be any size or shape, but bear in mind that squarer proportions display better on Instagram.
You can use any medium and any color scheme that you like. The only requirement is that you include the number ten in either letters (ten) or digits (10).
Remember to sign your artwork!
Either work digitally or scan or photograph your artwork. Save a version as a JPG that is 150 DPI and email it to [email protected] with the subject “MATS Birthday Card Competition”.
Share it on Instagram with the hashtag #MATSis10.

Rules
- Maximum one entry per person.
- Any and all work submitted must be your own.
- You give permission to Make Art That Sells to use any images you submit to this competition in any current or future class-related marketing or promotional strategies, online or offline. You will always be credited and will retain the rights to your work.
- The winner will be chosen by Lilla Rogers.
- Please ensure your entry is submitted in JPEG format at 150 DPI.
- All submissions must be emailed to [email protected] and shared on Instagram with the tag #MATSis10. Submissions sent elsewhere and/or in the incorrect format will not be considered as entries to the competition.
- Any submissions received after the closing time of 11:59 PM PST on August 24th, 2023 will not be eligible.
- This competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 from any country.
- There is no cash alternative.
