Sandy Cousens: My Arty Book Pitch

Qualified art therapist Sandy landed a book deal with UK publisher David & Charles after taking My Arty Book Pitch. Her book, Creative Calm, will be published in October this year. Sandy told us: “It is all about tapping into our innate creativity to live a life with joy, purpose, inner peace and self love.”

Kim Robinson: My Kid Book Pitch

We’ve previously shared the news about Kim’s book, Ski A to Z, which she pitched using what she’d learned on Lilla’s My Kid Book Pitch course.

Kim has now landed a commission to create 15 new artworks for the Professional Ski Instructors of Canada’s new eLearning program.

Kim said: “The brief required a line drawn style, quite different from my colourful painted technique. I enjoyed the challenge of using purely line drawings to convey the emotion and instructor/client connections, which are so important for the experience of learning to ski.”
