This is a placement print with hand lettering, available for license for all types of markets like paper and/or party paper. I have taken MATS B, Home Decor and the Children’s Illustration Course. I look forward to taking Bootcamp in 2017 to keep my portfolio fresh and exciting with new trends including networking with amazing artists across the world. 2017 will be the best yet in my career because I feel all of the work I am putting in is creating new and exciting opportunities for me. See all the festive showcase posts here as they unfold. *** Mirka Hokkanen Scandinavian Christmas elves. The designs were watercolors scanned in and printed at Spoonflower.com. I wanted to have 3-dimensional elves to have as a group on a shelf, and tea towels for the kitchen. The elves are for sale at the local Christmas markets that I am attending and the tea towel was a preorder through my social media and mailing list. I felt the Children’s book illustrating class was life changing for me. I have been a fine artist for a long time and people have always been telling me that I should be illustrating kid’s books, but I had no idea
