Lilla here. Today is Thanksgiving in the US, so today in particular I want to send a big thank you to you for being part of our global community. I get so much out of teaching my students and I’m grateful to have the honor of being your instructor. How wonderful that you get to have art as a beautiful focus! In times of difficulty, it can be a soothing presence and a radical act. Being able to focus on something that is hand-made and positive is a huge source of comfort. Although I am an instructor who teaches art and art business, what I’m really teaching is to help you find your voice and put it out to the world, because that is a radical act. Stay radical. Look at these gorgeous handmade portfolios that were submitted to me by by Lydia Graves, Ruth Burrows and Fay Ford, to whom I then offered representation. Lilla here. As many of you will know, I was an art agent for 30 years, representing 48 brilliant artists from around the world through my agency, Lilla Rogers Studio.
