Our next challenge drops next week, on July 1st, and we’ll be giving away your choice of our amazing self-paced courses, so check them out here and start deciding which one you would pick!

Two of the three winners of the assignment to create some fun and funky packaging for an IPA by Stephanie Hofmann (left) and Renee Hahnel (right).
We love seeing what you do with Lilla’s assignments,, so today we thought we’d share some of our previous winners from the TEN Art Challenges we’ve run so far!

Rainbow Wang (left) and Alicia Fairbourn (right) each won a FREE place on Bootcamp Special: Character Play with their fabulous mushrooms.
Q. How do I take part? How do I get the assignment?!
A. If you haven’t taken part in our FREE Art Challenge before, here’s everything you need to know:
- Every quarter, art agent Lilla creates a playful FREE assignment for you, to give you some direction and help you create a beautiful piece of art for your portfolio
- The assignment only goes out to people who’ve signed up to our mailing list [– so if you haven’t signed up yet, do it here so you don’t miss out!] Bit in brackets BLOG ONLY (remove brackets)
- You have exactly ONE WEEK to complete the assignment
- Lilla looks at every single piece of art submitted before the deadline and picks a winner (or two, or sometimes three)
- The winner gets bragging rights and a fantastic prize, like a FREE course!

Winner Kristina Skutlaberg (left) and two honorable mentions for Jean Ruth (center) and Cerys Turner (right).
So far Lilla’s whimsical kooky assignments have included things like packaging for an IPA, creating your own tarot card, celebrating the mushrooms where you live, and recreating a fabulous souvenir plate – and who knows what she’s got up her sleeve still to come.

Two fabulous souvenir plates won a place each in Illustrating Children’s Books for Erin Niehenke (left) and Rainbow Wang (again!) (right).
Would you love to get a FREE illustration assignment from art agent Lilla to create some stunning art like this and maybe win a FREE place in class? Then keep an eye on your inbox on Wednesday, July 1st for your next FREE Art Challenge – we think you’re going to love it!
