Today I’m going to give you another FREE assignment to play with and learn from.
Being able to do lettering is so good for your career because so many different products need it – plus it’s just such a joy to do.
In Assignment Bootcamp: Lettering, you’ll get a Micro Mini assignment every day from Monday to Friday of the first week of each month. In each one, I’ll share a new and gorgeous lettering style for you to get inspired by and play with – 15 in total, and they’re all brand new for 2026, collected from my travels around France and Portugal.

Just like last time, I want you to riff off of and experiment with the lettering in your sketchbook or on your screen.

When you’ve finished both your assignments, hang on to them – I suggest that you print them out and paste them into a sketchbook or journal along with your practice. By the end of the course, you’ll have a reference guide of 17 different fonts (15 from the class and these two warm-up sheets) – how cool is that?
