For the past year or two, whenever I’ve been travelling or teaching my live art retreats in Europe, I’ve been gathering examples of enticing lettering for you, from places like Paris, France, Portugal, and Cambridge Massachusetts, whether it’s a quirky little product from a Portuguese boutique, a sign I’ve spotted in a charming Parisian cafe or cool new lemon cookie packaging from a magical international gourmet food shop in Cambridge.
I’ve loved collecting beautiful, inspiring lettering styles for you for the past year or so – I can’t wait to show you what I’ve found! Join the class here.
And then honestly it’s been absolute torture for me because I had to go through and narrow it down to just 15 images (my life is so hard lol – at one point I was thinking “Hmm, what if I give them TWO images a day?”).
Not only that, but for some of them you can also draw a whole scene or building with lettering if you want to, rather than just writing the word, so you’ll also have a piece for your portfolio – maybe a gorgeous Parisian street scene or a little winding Portuguese road.
