Having been lucky enough to be at the MATS Global Gathering last year, I then went on to join the Global Talent Search (straight in at the deep end!), and then completed MATS A and Bootcamp.

As I say on my picture “MATS pushed me out my boundaries to make space for more fantastic art”. I have completed pieces of art I didn’t know I could, until I tried! See more of Jacqui’s work here

I have taken Mats A/ Bootcamp twice and entered the Global Talent Search. Lilla has such a positive attitude towards art making and it is energizing to take any of her classes. I love the mini exercises and love the way she breaks the assignments down to make them doable. Her focus on Play and Joy in whatever you do is a constant reminder to me to trust my process. Taking the MATS courses has been life changing. I have found a like minded group of people validating my creative passion and drive to create. They are extremely supportive and inspirational at the same time. I find this the constant unexpected reward of these courses.

Lilla always provides such interesting briefs for us all to play with and experiment and grow. She has a way about her that draws you in and makes you listen and believe in yourself as an artist. I’ll be back and back and back. See more of Debi’s work here

I am taking “MATS A” and loving it. MATS has reminded me to show up, do the work and how to keep putting your best (and most creative) foot forward. The MATS A course I am doing at the moment, is really helping me figure out how to go forward with my illustration work and how to go about getting it out there! MATS you are marvellous!!
