We’re hiring! Are you looking for an inspiring role that will allow you to help creative people succeed in the art industry? Are you a brilliant communicator, who loves social media and writing for online platforms and newsletters? Are you positive, self-motivated, service-minded and super-organized? Would you like a flexible role in a friendly team, based out of the UK but internationally connected?

If so, you might just be the Make Art That Sells (MATS) Social Media Marketing Officer we are looking for! This is a fixed term part-time (three or four days per week) contract for maternity cover from September 2018 – June 2019. The hours are super flexible, the team is lovely and the community is amazing!

This is a rare opportunity to be part of Make Art That Sells (MATS), one of the world’s leading online educational experiences for artists wanting to make their work more commercially viable. We provide industry insight into the top ten hottest markets for art, and show artists exactly what they need to do in order to license and sell their work to clients all over the world. And we are looking for a Social Media Marketing Officer to implement our promotional strategy to help more artists thrive in their creative careers. As we are a small team this will include working directly with MATS Founders Lilla Rogers and Beth Kempton.

Some important notes:

(1) This is a UK-based position, and we are ideally looking for someone based in the South West as you will need to attend regular team meetings in the Lyme Regis area. You will need permission to work in the UK and we are unfortunately unable to support visas or relocation.

(2) The successful candidate will be based remotely with most team communication by Skype/Zoom and email, with monthly meet ups. There is also the possibility for co-working with some team members 2-3 times a month near Lyme Regis.

(3) This is a marketing position not a design position (but you will be working on a creative project with a creative team so it will be super inspiring!)
