make more art you love Make Art That Sells What makes a great artist?

What makes a great artist?

What makes a great artist? Art agent Lilla is often asked, “What makes a great artist? What’s the difference between a good artist and a great one?” Lilla shares her thoughts in this short video – watch above, or check out the transcript below. What makes a great artist?: Transcript “I was recently asked: What’s the difference between a good artist and a great artist? And I think the answer is when you really feel that individual in the art, you know, you sense the person, they’ve come through in the work (a), and (b) in a way that’s magical and beautiful and fresh and unique. That takes time. Rome wasn’t built in a day!” Another crucially important part of an art career with longevity is having support. Being part of a creative community can be the difference between keeping going and giving up before you have had the chance
