With the Global Talent Search just around the corner, we are having a look at who this year’s judges are. Today, we’re visiting the office of Karen Capp, Co-founder at Oopsy Daisy. Oopsy Daily licence artists and produce “engaging art-based products that embrace childhood and celebrate individual artistic efforts“. As part of this year’s Global Talent Search’s prize, Oopsy Daisy are offering a 3 year license for a collection of 6-15 designs by the winner, to include products in wall art, growth charts, night lights and wall decals categories. See the Brighton event poster design winner! As a one-off special assignment for our current Assignment Bootcamp class, we recently challenged class participants to design a poster for our upcoming LIVE Global Art Gathering event in Brighton, UK, in June. We were absolutely blown away by the response, and it was a difficult decision for Lilla, her studio ladies and our guest judge Judy Stevens, founder of Artists Open Houses Brighton. After much deliberation they decided that the winner is KATIE VERNON, whose stunning poster design completely captured the character of Brighton, a buzzing creative city on the south coast of England. Make Art That Sells manifesto competition winners

See the Make Art That Sells manifesto winners! We get so many wonderful comments about Make Art That Sells that we challenged our amazing alumni to submit their own manifesto. We had 161 entries and were absolutely delighted (but not surprised!) by the staggering level of submissions for the Make Art That Sells manifesto illustration competition. Lilla was very impressed with all the entries and announced an overall winner and four honorable mentions. The winner gets a free place on our wonderful new course launching later this year (watch this space!). Our runners up all win a free entry into the 2015 Global Talent Search.
