April 2015 Bootcamp gallery is live!

April 2015 Bootcamp gallery is live! The April gallery from our Make Art That Sells: Assignment Bootcamp class is now live! This month, we challenged our students to design a poster for our exciting Global Art Gathering taking place in Brighton, UK in June. The gallery features nearly 300 pieces of original art submitted as part of this live brief. There was so much fabulous work submitted in response to this brief, and we love the ongoing supportive energy in the Bootcamp community. What a generous, talented group of artists they are! Our next Bootcamp will be running in 2016, read more and jump on the waiting list here.

But what they learn is what will lead them to making more art that ultimately does sell. Check out out now – and as a bonus you get to watch Wendy’s fabulous painting process! Are you ready to start making more commercially viable art whilst staying true to yourself? Do you want to get inside the head of

Does Make Art That Sells actually work?! YES! So does Make Art That Sells actually work? Do artists who take the class actually sell more art? Well yes, they do. We asked class participants for examples of their successes since taking Hot Markets for Your Art Part A and Part B, and were staggered by the response, bearing in mind that some people only took the course 4-5 months ago. Students have since secured licensing deals in the gift, editorial, baby apparel, bolt fabric, wall art, greetings, home décor, paper and fashion markets, many have won competitions, and a number have been signed for representation. It’s also really important to say that people join Make Art That Sells courses at different stages of their creative journey. Some are nearly ready to seek out work, others less so. For many people the greatest breakthrough is a new level of confidence in their

Now that the Make Art That Sells course and the Global Talent Search are over, I finally have the time to sit down and reflect on the last six months. What a whirlwind it has been!
