Anyone for an art cocktail?! Join art agent Lilla for a fab FREE three-day Spring Break Art Camp and get ready to fall in love with traditional media all over again.
Lilla says: “I had such a good time doing a live art technique demo recently, and my students loved it. So when the team asked me what I wanted to do in terms of Zooms during the Spring Sale, I was really excited to do three more days of techniques and tasters.”
Get ready to fall back in love with traditional art materials, to level up your work, and discover the beauty you can create with traditional media. Plus it’s a great way to get a taste of Lilla’s unique whimsical and warm teaching style.
Lilla adds: “I’m going to be serving up some bite-size art-making recipes. It’s going to be a visual delight that I’ve curated especially for you. I want you to break out the traditional media and try it out because there’s nothing like it and it will absolutely amp up the quality of your work. You can either join me and work along with me – I’ve shared some of the materials I’ll be using in the image above – or just watch to pick up notes, tips and ideas.”

Let’s go! Here’s your schedule for camp:
Day 1: Thursday, April 11th
Lilla says: “Day 1 is all about traditional media. Think of these as art cocktails: I’m going to give you little tiny cocktail recipes that you can mix in your own way. We’re going to play with gouache and make some blobs before adding colored pencils and pens. We’re going to use a dip pen and some thick black ink on top, along with a little gold metallic.”
Day 2: Friday, April 12th
Lilla told us: “Day 2 is all about colors and florals, falling in love with florals and making color stories. I have some gorgeous vintage products that we’re going to riff off and vibe off, using them to inspire our color choices. Today is going to be particularly good for anyone interested in decorating journal pages, amping up arty book pages, scenes for children’s books, and art-driven toys and games.”

Day 3: Saturday, April 13th
On day three you can expect some surprise special guests! Plus Lilla will be pulling out some more vintage ephemera to inspire and delight you.
Lilla told us: “On Day 3 we’re going to accessorise your picture: adding borders and swirls and decoration, or what I call bonuses or frills. I have a pamphlet from the late 1800s that you’re going to love that has the most beautiful swirls and swashes and bits and pieces that we’re going to study and learn from.”
