Sandy got in touch back in 2023 to share the wonderful news. She told us: “I just heard word from UK publishers David and Charles and they have asked to publish my book! Words at this stage escape me (probably not good for an author!) but my heart is so full of gratitude, my hands are twitching to start and my mind is racing with more ideas to serve in the best way I can.”

Sharisse Steber
Sharisse has been on an amazing journey ever since she sketched her muse for MATS MBA (Money BadAss) a few years ago. Her drawing became the inspiration for an illustrated guided journal, Rise & Roar: A Guided Journal for Outdoor Adventure, that got picked up by a publisher within 48 hours – read more here. The same publisher, Mountaineers, then published her gorgeous tarot cards that we featured in this blog post.
Now Sharisse has a children’s book, T is for Trails: A hiking alphabet, which was published by Sleeping Bear Press. The publisher found Sharisse through the illustrations she did for her guided journal.
What an amazing journey from one sketch! Sharisse told us: “Outdoor themed products are slowly building into a brand niche for me.”
