She drew her dream client – what happened next will amaze you!

Today though we’re sharing a fabulous success story that really caught our attention.

A couple of months ago, art agent Lilla picked up her mail right before a live Zoom event, and found a card from Make Art That Sells student Sharisse Steber, along with a copy of her book, Rise & Roar: A guided journal for outdoor adventure.
Sharisse wrote that she had signed up for the MATS MBA (Money BadAss) – a business course designed for creative people – back in 2018. One of the assignments in the course was to draw your dream client, so Sharisse did just that.

Sharisse wrote that her dream client became her muse, who inspired her to combine her two passions for art and outdoor adventure, and to create a pitch for her book. Her pitch was then picked up within 24 hours!

You said it was magic – and it was! This girl became my muse. I had no idea a book was in me, but she inspired me to combine my two passions: art and outdoor adventure. The book you are holding is the product of that one single drawing. I got an offer within 24 hours of launching my book proposal! Thank you for inspiring greatness in all your students.”
