We recently revealed that Lilla Rogers Studio is taking on a new artist who is also a Make Art That Sells student. This week we’re thrilled to be able to tell you that LRS’s newest artist is … Kelly Anne Dalton! Congrats, Kelly Anne! We’d love to show you some of our students’ cool color palettes and kooky collections! Muted vintage color and goodness in Cynthia Frenette’s collection for Day 1 of the prep We shared two free days of #MATSprep ahead of the start of Assignment Bootcamp 2019 in February. What’s a #MATSprep? It’s a set of free exercises to get prepared for class, or just to enjoy some creative fun and inspiration, and they’re a great way to see what Lilla’s playful teaching style is all about. MATS preps are usually spread over a couple of days or more, and each day you complete a task without knowing what you’ll be doing with it the following day. As you can imagine, it’s enormous fun and always entertaining to find out where each prep will take you, but it’s also a brilliant way to find the joy in your artmaking, to just be in the moment and to play. We’re thrilled to be able to share our big news: Lilla Rogers Studio is taking on a new artist, and it’s one of our very own Make Art That Sells students! MATS courses are unique in being led by one of the world’s foremost art agents, Lilla Rogers – which means that they offer students an unparalleled opportunity to get their art directly in front of a leading art agent! This student is someone who will have taken multiple MATS courses, been followed by MATS on Instagram and possibly had work reviewed in class by Lilla: all wonderful opportunities for MATS students to get their work noticed by Lilla and possibly get scooped up for representation.
